પણ આપણ ને પહોંચાડે ખલેલ

શા માટે આપણ ને કરે છે શામેલ ?

જ્યારે તેને જોવો  જ છે ખરેખર તાલમેલ?

બાકી સ્વાર્થી મન કદાપી સંમત નહિ થાય

ભલે ને અહીંનું તહીં થઇ જાય।

રોજ કૈંક ને કૈક થયા કરે

સ્વાર્થ ની સગાઈ ચાલ્યા કરે

એક બીજાની છેતરામણી તો ખરીજ

તેમ છતાં સાચો તો હું જ। 

મારા મા બાપ નું  હું એકજ સંતાન

પિતાજી ભાવુક અને માતાજી મહાન

કદી કોઈ ને કવેણ ના કહે

અમે બધા સંપી ને…

પ્રવાસમાં આપણા સહપ્રવાસી બે જાતના હોય. આપણે પસંદ કરેલા એટલે કે, પ્રવાસના વિચારમાત્રથી મનમાં ગોઠવાઈ જનારા, પહેલેથી છેલ્લે સુધી સાથે રહેનારા અને સુખદુ:ખમાં પણ સાથ ન છોડનારા એવા જાણીતા થઈ ગયેલા મિત્રો કે સ્નેહીઓ હોય. બીજા સહપ્રવાસીઓ તદ્દન અજાણ્યા હોય, પણ પ્રવાસમાં ફક્ત સીટ નંબરને કારણે આપણા સહપ્રવાસી બનવાનો લાભ મેળવી જનારા હોય !

પ્રવાસ નાનો હોય કે મોટો, બે કલાકનો હોય કે બાર દિવસનો હોય, સહપ્રવાસી બાબતે હું બહુ ઊંચા જીવે રહું. બાજુમાં કોણ જાણે કોણ આવશે !…
