WITHOUT LOOKING INTO HISTORY IT IS BETTER TO REMOVE ARTICLE 370 FOR PROGRESSIVE KASHMIR...
To support article 370 by political parties is shear minor appeasement and vote bank politics only. Modi has just urge to have a healthy debate on the topic and not told to remove it. It is surprising that many news channels who are champions of organizing debate on any topic is diverting their debate topic that BJP back to their old 3 demands instead of carrying healthy debate on article 370.
Problems with article 370 that only Kashmiri’s buy land there. If it is removed made free for all Indians, then you will see how industries will set there and employment problem will definitely be solved. Industrialization it does not mean only mining. There are so many industries can be set up without effecting environment. But, it is unfortunate that few separatists or indirectly Pakistan dictate the terms there and parties like NC, PDP and even congress support article 370 and this means they support separatists only and interested to keep J&K backward and beggar.
If its freed from 370 then I am sure terrorism can be control, since industry will generate huge employment. This will help Kashmir bring back in the normal situation and get amalgamated with India. I don't want to look into the Kashmir history, but looking to the future of it.
