Onkar Barik a small carpenter,  lived with his parents in Jaleswar a small village in the state of orissa. Passing by time took his parents away obeying the nature's law within a span of one year.His mother bade good by to all worldly pleasure in 1987 and the very next year his father also passed away and naturally Onkar inherited his father's small business after his father's demise.Departure of parents left Onkar completely alone on earth.He had no relatives far and near except the next door neighbor who were of his similar financial status.The owner's name was Nihar Mahapatra who was a fisherman.He and his wife had also only daughter Parul.Niharbabu forcefully terminated Parul's study as soon as she completed her 6th standard because she was growing inch by inch with alluring physique that started bothering her parents a great deal.Parul's family was closely knitted with Onkar's family and the parents of both houses loved each other's kid as their own.Niharbabu and his wife nurtured a desire of joining four hands of Onkar and Parul as soon as time knocked their mind .

 One fine evening they decided to approach Onkar with marriage proposal.Next sunday when Onkar was watching T.V news sitting in his living room Parul's parents entered his room to his great surprise.Onkar humbly welcomed them inside and made them sit.After a couple of minutes informal discussion Parul's father put up the proposal.Initially Onkar's throat got choked but ultimately he managed himself somehow and tiding over all uneasiness he replied smartly"uncle how could it be possible to marry the next door girl whom i have been seeing since my childhood?moreover she is too junior to me! !"he exclaimed. Niharbabu disclosed their concern about Parul's growing age and tried to convince him about how difficult it is for old aged parents to protect their only daughter from the evil cast of the society' sharks "but legally it is not fair too" again exclaimed Onkar but Parul's parents' repeated insistence with loads of concern melted away Onkar's heart, in fact Onkar too could not deny to himself that he too had a soft feeling about Parul.Whatsoever the four hands were fused under one full moon night.

Onkar was doing fairly well with his business and it took an acceleration soon after Parul became a fragment of his life.They kept enjoying married life without skipping a single night, Onkar even forgot the legal inhibition of child marriage as per Indian penal code.Onkar took much care of Parul, paid keen attention into her daily necessities but none of them could anticipate that a heap of dark pitch cloud being mustered above their heads. After a week from the day of their marriage Parul started feeling differently quite unusual, she stopped craving breakfast, lunch, dinner would vomit off and on,"whats wrong with me!"she murmured, a fobia encircled her from all around as she was quite immatured;she disclosed everything to Onkar.

Onkar took Parul to hospital nearby and after a thorough check up Parul was discovered carrying baby with her.Initialy the joy was immense but as time was flying away Parul was getting more and more nervous. At last the gestation period came but the sky was looking so heavy that the raven cloud could not be cleared.

Parul gave birth to a little baby girl but at the cost of her life, her parents had to pay eventually for the sin they had done at the time of getting parul married.at an immatured age of 14.

To Onkar, Parul's demise was a thrash of whipping waves of a raging sea.Even his parents' departure couldn't crumble him down so badly.

Slowly slowly Onkar became alone by heart, he reduced his business's pace surviving on a little dough just to feed the two stomachs.

His baby daughter only stayed with him at night and only at that moment Onkar felt a heavenly bliss when his lil daughter would fall asleep encircling his neck.With the falling of morning he would escort his daughter to her grandparents.

Onkar gave a beautiful name to his daughter,'Chandra', means the moon because of her exquisite beauty.

A time came when Onkar's inlaws left for heavenly abode and Onkar couldn't notice also that time too grew him grey.

Chandra in the meanwhile completed her 6th. standard at the age of 12.She was growing with floral beauty and on the other hand Onkar was becoming feeble and hardly could give manual labor.One day out of suspicion he went to the hospital for a check up and diognised with tuberculism.Now he became immensely concerned about Chandra.He had fallen pray to fear psychosis.

He could clearly realize rather to say he clearly heard ringing bell in heaven.He became restless, suddenly a plan struck his mind.

He had a friend named Binoy who was bachelor and would run a pice hotel at Gopalnagar sea beach.Onkar believed his friend to be humble and generous person.

So he took Chandra to Binoy.At first sight Binoy took fancy on Chandra and promised Onkar that he would look after Chandra with father care, and he asked Onkar to go back home and stay fearlessly.

So did Onkar, he felt a giant stone sliding down from his chest.

Chandra was doing well in the pice hotel and earned Binoy reputation by her sweet behavior with the customers.

Binu called chandra 'Chand' and Chandra called him Binu uncle.

Binu uncle stole little Chandra's heart as every night after dinner Binu uncle took her to sea beach for a night stroll.

The sweet breeze when glided across Chandra's mind, body, soul, she started feeling snoozy.Binu uncle took her back his home and made her fall asleep.

Chandra's gradually growing breast and lower portion which was unusual for the girls of her age planted a wolf's hunger into Binu uncle's mind, and Chandra couldn't fathom to what extent the root of his ill will had been planted!but Binu uncle was very much cunning and calculative, he didn't make Chandra realize about his evil desire, rather could conquerred the lil soul's faith.He used to fondle Chandra in such manner that the innocent girl couldn't dream at all that any sort of ill will can dwell inside a father like man.

On one Sunday Binu uncle told Chandra"Chand I'll take you to sea bathing this evening and I bet you'll surely discover the beauty of the sea differently"Chandra started jumping hearing this out of excitation.

The time appeared and Binu uncle took Chandra to a solitary spot where horizon seemed to have touched the earth surface, amazing! ! murmured Chandra.

By that time silver saucer had replaced the golden orb.There was no one around.Chandra was excited and suddenly to her surprise Binu uncle put off his clothes and stood before her with an undie only, Chandra started laughing loudly.Binu uncle asked Chandra to take off her gown and stand before him the same way he was standing before her. He said"Chand let us play a delightful game right now""whats that?" asked Chandra, he replied "We will test each other's skill against the waves let us stand facing the waves and see who can withstand the splash".

First Binu uncle stood facing the howling waves but he stood without any displacement. Now came the turn Of Chandra, Binu uncle was quite aware of the outcome so stealthily he stood behind her.As an inevitable result a single wave flung Chandra to the spot where Binu uncle was standing. 

Binu uncle took no time to catch and hold chandra tightly, let her breath smoothly and then started his delightful game.He lifted her in her arms and stood her at a shallow spot and started caressing Chandra's blooming body.Chandra couldn't make out the head and tail of what was happening to her, rather she was getting an unusual pleasure.Binu uncle took the full advantage of her innocence and within few seconds he could make her surrender her innocense to the mortal wolf .Binu uncle got tremendously excited, getting hard and harder.At last the inexperienced bachelor wolf entered the gentle soul violently ravaging Chandra's innocence, looting her adolesence.Chandra screamed with all her might and fainted.

Binu uncle picked her up in his arm and took back home and lay her on her bed and made her fall asleep.

Next morning Chandra couldn't go to work and stayed at home all day long.Binu uncle asked her to take a week long rest.After a week long rest Chandra came back to her normalcy but on the 8th day she started feeling uneasy. She lost her appetite and vomited once or twice and noticing that

Binu uncle got scared and escorted Chandra to her father Onkar and said"Keep Chandra here for a month, she is a bit sick and send her back as soon as she is ok."In the meanwhile Onkar's health condition became severe and his movement became restricted but seeing her daughter's condition he became more tensed.

The next morning defying all his physical trouble Onkar took Chandra to hospital where he got a thunder shock when the report of Chandra's pregnancy reached his hands, somehow he came back home dragging his withering body.Rest of the day he didn't exchange a single word with Chandra and skipped his lunch and dinner.Each fragment of the day passed away with every blink of eyes, when the clock sruck 12am-

Out of sheer pain and shame Onkar entered his bed room and shut the doors with a bang.At last silence descended and enshrouded the night, Onkar didn't want to waste a single second.He swallowed the entire strip of his sleeping pill.

Chandra in her room couldn't sleep in quite at night, she rolled her body from left to right.She woke up early and her father's silent corpse came to her notice.

The little girl then only could realize that something must have happened to her which is called sin. but she didn't want to let her neighbor know the story of inside.Chandra took her first and last decision at the moment and she felt that suddenly she grew matured and adult.She shut the doors and windows, took her long scarf, tied it with one of the blades of their ceiling fan and hung herself.

The last moment's inner cry of the departed souls perhaps reached the stray dogs and the flying crows.Their deafening crying woke up the neighbors and finally they discovered the father and the ravaged innocent soul of his blooming daughter.

They performed their last rites.The story inside the four walls eventually disclosed from the medical report that was lying by Onkar's body.

A silence descended upon the earth.
every doorstep of the neighbours became slippery
on the other hand Binoy and his pice hotel couldn't be traced
