There are five basic stages in gypsum processing: excavation, crushing, screening, grinding, heating. Crushing the gypsum rock is advisable before processing further, especially if subsequent heating is to be done in a pan rather than a shaft kiln. The often used gpysum crushing machine in processing operation includes jaw crusher, impact crusher, hammer crusher, gyratory crusher, cone crusher etc.

Hammer crusher for Gypsum rock processing: 1.After being shipped from the mining site, the raw gypsum mine should be first through storage and selection, and then enter into the follow process to ensure continuous and stable quality feed; 2. From the vibrating feeder to the jaw crusher, the gypsum quarry is fed and crushed to less than 8cm; 3. Then through the secondary gypsum crushing, such as impact crusher, cone crusher,etc. the mineral is crushed to less than 2cm; 4. The end products will be transported to calcining kiln through bucket elevator. We can chanage the temperature of the calcining kiln to produce β-type hemihydrate gypsum, anhydrite and over gypsum.

The gypsum crusher breaks the big sized gypsum ore into small ones with 25mm in diameter. After storing and conveying, they are taken into the gypsum grinding mill for grinding. Then, the power concentrator carries the gypsum powders which match to the needed fineness to calciner for calcining. Others are back to the mill until it is qualified. In the end, after calcining, the qualified gypsum powder are sent to clinker container for storing, or are sent to the manufacturing workshops for use.
