The Application and Benefits of Flotation Separator

Flotation separation process is used for separating ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It can be also used for separation of non-metal materials such as coal fluorite and steatite. The impeller rotates by triangle belt of the motor, with produces centrifugal function and causes negative pressure. On one hand it draws in enough air mixed with ore magma; on the other hand it agitates to mix ore magma with chemical medicines. At the same time, it minifies bubbles so that minerals can stick above them .float on the surface of magma, and form mineralized bubbles. The height of plate can be adjusted to control fluid level so that the available bubbles can be scrapped out by scrapers.
The flotation separator has the advantages of large air-absorption capacity and low energy consumption. Every cell owns three functions: air absorption, slurry absorption, and floatation separation, and the cells form a floatation cell loop by itself without any auxiliary equipment, and is allocated horizontally, which favors the change of flow. Flotation machine plays an essential role in flotation process, after wet milling, ores have been monomer dissociated to be a certain concentration of ore pulp, then they will fully be mixed with reagents in agitation tank. After entering into flotation machine, the target ores are supposed to attach the bubble by aeration and mixing, and forming mineralization foam layer, then scrap them with scraper or overflow automatically, these are froth production(concentrate), while for non froth production, it will discharge from tank bottom.
