1. Your journey as an author:
As a Student was always appreciated as having good narrative skills, little did I knew it will turn into an addictive drug as I grew up. It was from last 1 year that I started taking my skills way more seriously. From last 1 year to now, it has been amazing and fruitful journey. Still a long way to go though...
2. Tell us about your book/s:
As for books, I am working on my debut book. Which will hopefully be released by 2017.
Apart from this, have worked on various anthologies across the country:
The Masterstroke by Write India publications.
Scribbled Tales by Moments Publishers.
Life as it happens by Moments Publishers.
From The Closet Of The Heart by Artson Publishing House.
3. What are your views about Indian publishing industry?
As far as Indian Publishing Industry is concerned I personally believe that the talent in Indian writers remains undiscovered due to the lack of good opportunities. Though these days Indian writers are globally recognized yet there is a lot more to do in this respect. Indian publishing industry need not be open to only a few of the well known Indian authors but to each and every writer out there so that there is an abundance of great writings.
4. As an author, What do you think is the role of a literary agency?
As an author, I believe in creating a world similar to those in the stories which is somewhere practically not impossible . What I mean to say is we, the authors can try a bit with our pen to vanish the mess in the whole world. To write on various issues, raise them and then compel people to think what the solutions could be is the role of an author. Furthermore enhancing the quality of the literature that reaches more people is what I feel is the role of the literary agency.
5. Your views on online readership.
This concept of online readership has done a lot good in terms of people who are constantly on go. For I being a person, always in love with the smell of books this concept though very good don't appeal me much.
6. What do you think about the newly emerged genre "Micro-fiction"?
It's really amazing. I mean with few set of perfectly chosen words you can narrate a whole story. I am totally in love with this new trend.
